Figure from www.aaro.mil ABOUT AARO UAP UAP are sources of anomalous detecti ons in one or more domains (i.e., airborne, seaborne, spaceborne, and/or transmedium) th at are not yet attributable to known actors and that demonstrate behaviors that are not readily understood by sensors or observers. “Anomalous detections” include, but are not limited to, phenomena that demonstrate apparent capabilities or material that exceed known state-of- the-art capabilities. A UAP may co nsist of one or more persist over an extended period of time. • UAP result pri marily fro m domain- awareness gaps. • UAP potentially represent advanced capabilities operating in our domain-awareness gaps . (AARO) is leading the U.S. Government’s efforts to detect, track, and analyze framework and a data-driven approach. OTHER REPORTS TO AARO AARO is accepting reports of U.S. Government pr ograms or activities re lated to UAP from current or fo rmer U.S. Government employees, ser vice members, or contractor personnel with direct knowledge. These reports will be used to inform AARO’s congressionally directed Historical Record Report. A reporting form is available at www.aaro.mil.
