My first thought was that it was the moon, but I changed my mind after viewing it for a few seconds. The object was stationary for a minute and disappeared for a few seconds. Then it reappeared for 30 or LO seconds and disappeared. The (éolject was bright orange in color and sfiped like a piece of pie cut. The sky condition was clear. I saw no clouds and no stars.
