le What I saw looked like two (2) search light flashes that varied
back and forth, one hitting right on top of the other. They would flash back
and forth and then center on onee It looked like the beam came from the
ground, You could see part of the beam at times and other times it would
fade completely out. It was larger than a search light beam. I saw this
two (2) or three (3) different nights, I just thought it was a search light.
There are no search lights in this part of the country that I kmow of; how-
ever, I haven't spent much time here for the last five or six years. There
was no sound. The color was the same as a search light beam. It looked
like a search light beam reflecting off a cloude I couldn't tell how many
objects there were. When I saw these before, they were in the same localitye
They looked like a search light crossing one another then all at once they
would stop one on top of the other. I couldn't see any trail or exhaust.
There was no propulsion that I kmow of. They moved rapidly. They moved a
lot faster than an ordinary search light beam would have moved, They would
start on one side of the horizon and move to the other. They would start
just like a beam would and move across the sky until they reached the same
place and stop on top of one another. I didn't see them disappear,
I saw this at approximately 2300 (CST) on 6 July 1953.
I observed these with the naked eye.
I was watching through the second (2d) story of the dormitory.
There was @ screen on the window and the window was opene The object
