The following information was obtained by long distance telephone
from lst Lt HARRIS, Robert NMI, AO 590921, 7th Communication Squadron
Ent Air Force Base, Colorado Springs, Colorado. At time of sighting Lt
Harris was at Cordell Hall, Oklahoma A & M Campus, Stillwater, Oklahoma,
where he will remain until 23 July 1953.
le As close as I could say it was elliptical; dim white light
compared with a ceiling light or the light a search light would throw on
the bottom of a cloud. It was moving. It i ible that it could have
been a search light; however, it moved back and “th in a limited arc.
is far as I could tell, there was no overcast, far as I know, the only
thing that would throw up a light like that is the airport at Tulsa, Okla.,
approximately 70 miles away. The most objects I saw were two (2), one of
which was intermittent. One was directly above the other. There is a
possibility of a trail. The uppermost light seemed to disappear occasion=-
ally. There was a very limited range of movement, I would say a 10° arce
I heard no noise. If these objects were at the distance I think they
were, the movement would have been quite rapid, I would med somethere be-
tween 5 and 750 mphe This is based on what I have observed from aircraft.
I left the objects to make the call to report them; when I went back they
were not there. From time to time I saw stars above the object. I have
never seen anything like this before.
fra

North Central part of Stillwater, Oklahama.
5e I have two (2) years experience as Control Tower Operator with
the Air Force. I ama private pilot and have a CAA Certificate as a con-
trol tower operator. I have approximately one hundred (100) hours in the
aire
6. Further around towards North from 120° fron East on up to about
Northeast (about 45° to 90°) there was some lightening. It was off down
to the horizon.
fe Meteorological condition is ‘unknown.
8. I did not take any pictures and did not obtain any fragments,
