The object was round, very shiney like chrome. I would estimate it to be from 30,000 to 45,000 feet high. I am unable to estimate the size. I saw (1) object. There was no trail or exhaust. No speed whatsoever; it didn't movee There was no sound. It was stationary in the skye seo the object when it disappeared. Looking at it through glasses, once in a while it looked like from above something would dart out from either sidee It looked like it hung from some other object. Every once in a while either the top or the bottom would move slightly. watched this object approximately 2s minutes, I watched it through field glasses and es were 20 strength. was at Tinker Air Force Base Control Tower when I saw this object. was located directly overhead. I would estimate the object to be to 45,000 feet high. have been working in the control tower for one yeare The sky was completely clear except for some clouds way off on the horizon West and a few East. I didn't take any photographs and didn't see any fragments. There was one aircraft about 2,000 feet. This aircraft was nowhere near objects Considering the way the object disappeared, I don't think it was a weather balloone STRATTON, Frank E.
