Report submitted by Tommy Dowborn, mailing address: Post Office Box u,é2, |Saint Joe, Texas, no telephone mmber given; occupation: Aircraft Engine Mechanic, | place of employment unknown, : €e Above named civilian called Tinker Air Force Base long distance telephone j}and talked with Mr. Louis B. lackey, Civilian, Badge No. 3063 » Aircraft Dispatcher Supervisor, Flight Operations, Base Executive's Office, Tinker Air Force Base, and reported sighting three (3) objects which looked like stars with tails that glowed traveling South. Objects were sighted over Muenster, Texas, (reported in message as Muster, Texas), geographical location approximately thirty (30) miles West of Gainesville, Texas. One object made a wide 180° turn and headed North which was the reason Mr. Dowborn called this station, The other two objects continued South, Mre Laskey advises that Mr. Dowborn left the impression he had called or intended to call Fort Worth, Texas, Je Speed was estimated at 2000 MPH; altitude was estimated at 60,000 feet, Mre Dowborn reported that he did not hear any sound. Flight was straight and level except for time one mde 180° turn. Time of sighting was 2305 Central Standard Time and was reported to TAFB 232); Central Standard Time. Sighting was visual from the ground and length of time observed is unknown, Weather was clear with wind velocity of approximately 15 MPH. l.
