1s On the night of 15 April 1953, four unidentified sightings of lights over
Tucson, Arizonay were observed and reported,

it was first sighted coming from the north on a heading of south then making a
ht turn to a northwest heading. The light appeared to slow down before making
turn to the northwest. It appeared to be at an extremely hich altitude. The
path was definite and not eratic. No aerodynamic features, trail, propulsion

camera. Because of the speed of the film and short exposures the negatives were

blank when develeped. While the observer was writing information his wife saw

two aireraft about 2202 hours proceeding on a nerthwesterly heading. Davis-—Monthan
Base Operations verified that a C-%46 departed this station at 2159 for Travis Air
Foree Base, California. The neading taken for such a flight would be northwest.

and was seen on a northwest heading for a short time only.
