WEBB observed while looking through the windows of his home, a light of bluish white radiance moving at right angles to his line of vision and in a nertheasterly directions (Airman Webb was facing southeast during Sighting é ) <e Due to the fact that the area in which the light seemed to be moving- is frequently used by aircreft making. landings at SELFRIDGE AIR FORCE BASE, A/2e WEBB reasoned that the light was sunlight reflected from the fuselage of an aircraft. A/2c WEBS afterwards determined that the light could not be re- flected light since it never sparkled or changed color. The light was very brilliant and nearly as bright as an are welder's torch but not as blue, according to AIRMAN WEBB. When first observed, the light was traveling at approximately four hundred (400) miles per hour in a horizontal path. There Seemed to be no radiation or trail from the light. 4- ALRVWAN WEBB states that there was no distinguishable sound, iis AIRMAN WEBB states that he watched the object for approximately eight (8) seconds but could not accurately judge the size or distance of the light. A/2C WEBB also states that he is unfamiliar with the area in which the light was observed but it appeared to be in the vicinity of the southern a POT?
