Location of Air Traffie: One DC=3, three (3) miles NE of Love Field, Dallas, 1, Description: Object was delta-winged in shape with large round opening in the center which changed color from orange to red. The nose section was bluish-green; wings were brilliant white; tail section was fuzzy and changed color from orange to red to blue. The tail section was not as bright as the rest of the object. The wing-tips and nose would make an equilateral triangle,and the tail section ex-— tended to the rear of the triangle. No trail or exhaust or system of propulsion was noted. The speed of the object was noted as follows: the object covered ninéty (90) degree arc in three minutes, about fifty (50) miles north of the city of Dallas. No speed in miles per hour could be given. There was no sound reported. Maneuvers consisted mostly of straight and level flight. In one instance it hoovered , made a slight curve, then went practically straight up and dissppparéed by blend- ing in with stars. 2. Time sighted: 0105, 0108, 0125, and 0200, 6 Jan 1953. 3. Manner of Observation 3 The object was sighted from the ground by visual means. 4. Location of Observer: W Long 96 Degrees 50 Minutes, N Lat. 32 degress 50 Minutes. The object appeared to be approximately fifty (50) miles north of above location at 2000 to 2500 feet altitude, then moved to NNE position and appeared to be head- ing in SSE direction. + Identifying Inférmation on Observer: Mr. M.F. Interception or Identification Action Taken: All radar in area was notified, Oklahoma City Municipal Airport reported radar contact with object in the vic- inity reported on and gave estimated speed of over 600 miles per hour, Texas, at 700 feet altitude reported no observation.
