This report contains information of the sighting of a "Fireball" seen over the Cayuga Lake region of New York state. 2 crew chief at ‘years of aeronautical experience Ithaca, New York, and a friend visually sighted the fireball at 2110 hours, 3. April 1952. and twelve (12) 36 stated in letter form the sighting was made from an auto- mobile seven miles from Ithaca, N.Y., along the west shore of Cayuga Lake. The fireball was travgling very rapidly in an are from northeast to northwest across Cayuga Lake. al described the fireball as being sizable, green in color with green flames streaking out. 4.
