I was standing in front of my operations tent talking with aj |
when I havvened to glance up. Direstly overhead and heading in a
northeasterty direction was what I assumed to be a meteor. It was tha
larceast I have evsr seen and lasted lonzer than any I have ever seen but
yever-the~less was similar in appearance Is seemed to diminish in size
as it traveled until it eventually disappeared near the horizone 1
have no idea how fast it was traveling nor how ligh it was. This took
place at approximately 2045, 2 April 1952-6

On 2 Avril 1952 while returning from the Stage Show below the Water
tower 2% approximately 2040 hours I noticed whet seemed to be a large
ball of fire with a long "teil" oehind traveling at a great rate of speed
sonuerd the Northe It was uy impression that it could have been a Star, .
because it seamed to disappear at a lower altitude than it was when I savy.
