at approximately 2045 hours 2 April 1952 for a period of 10 = 40
asconds.

Object appeared to be round ball of fire giving off grsenish
glow and having a red and yellow tail of fire and sparks. Object
emitted two or three smaller balls of fire-which burned out. It
traveled a straight South - North course West of Temple, Texas,
aS about 030 degrees heading and disappeared behind clouds. Speed
' estimated from 500 to 6,000 MPH. Altitude estimated 10,000 to
150,000 Paet, flat trajectory. Sound rsported similar to that
of jet aircraft. .All sightings visual.

flying Scuth. All others were at genes ‘level.
