Dear Mr. Gaines:
The following material has been sent to you, via Federal Express, in response
to your request of March 2, 1987, for information regarding the sighting of
Unidentified air traffic by the flight crew of Japan Air Lines flight #1628, on
the night of November 17, 1986.
As per our telephone conversation, it is understood that this material will not
be provided to any other company or organization or used or distributed until
after the completion of our FAA press conference on this Subject, scheduled for
10:00 am, Alaska Standard Time, on March 5, 1987. This material is provided on
an embargoed basis.
