Dear Mr. Engen:
I was quite interested to hear of the recent Japan Airlines UFO "sighting"
that took place between Iceland and Anchorage. As an optometrist and perceptual
lighting specialist, information regarding the nature of the "light belts"
and the conditions during which they were observed could, potentially,
prove quite significant in my ongoing research of the sensory aspects of
color vision.
