and they stated they
intended to
publish this
quotation and
oelabor same in their
Iirstissuess llr.
Hoodstated
that
he had refrained from making anystatement
to the press other than to admit possession of an object and that it
was being
turned over to military
authorities in
the
morning this AM!, it being Mr.
Hood's
opinion that. he did not want any quotes in the press and certainly not
one to the
effect that
we were
not
interested.
