SKYWATCH INCIDENT REPORT PRIMARY CODE: UNIDENTIFIED AERIAL PHENOMENON Date: 01:52 04/22/2022 Status: Closed POD: DEN Reporting Facility: ZDC Callsign:LXJ359 Aircraft:E55P Tail Number: Operator:LXJ Origin:BOS Destination:HSV New Destination: Operator Type:Commercial Paged:YES REMARKS Aircraft reported an unidentified aerial phenomenon off the 12 o'clock overhead while SW bound at FL450 in the vicinity of the ESL VORTAC. The unknown phenomenon was described as a string of bright lights at FL550. The event lasted for 4-5 minutes. LXJ359 experienced a double Attitude Reference System failure and a double Autopilot System failure while directly underneath of the UFO lights. The UFO's lights turned off and the flight crew could still observe that there was something there. The flight crews of SWA368 (DCA-MDW), SWA393 (BWI-MDW), UAL46 (IAH-EDDF) reported sighting the same light phenomenon and held a discussion about what they saw on GUARD frequency. AWO notified.
