Dear President Clinton, From April 8-10 1997 CSETI Project Starlight will convene a closed, confidential meeting in Washington DC for top secret military and intelligence officials who are witnesses to UFO/Extraterrestrial events and programs. Along with astronaut Ed Mitchell, there will be individuals who are heros of our country and who are courageously willing to come forward publicly with their testimony regarding UFOs. We are requesting that you and the Vice President agree to meet with these patriotic American veterans to hear their testimony. Even a brief meeting, with follow up with appropriate Administration officials, would show these courageous individuals the respect and concern which they deserve. These are honest witnesses who are willing to testify under oath before an open hearing in Congress about what they know. Their testimony will establish unequivocally that we are not the only intelligent life in the universe. We sincerely hope that you and others in the Administration will be able to meet with this coalition of government UFO witnesses. Ideally, we would like to see your administration actively involved in the facilitation of the disclosure of this information to the world by hosting a White House meeting on this matter with key Congressional leaders. Please let me know at your earliest convenience if you will be able to meet with this coalition of government UFO witnesses. We will be happy to provide a list of these witnesses to your staff if this meeting can be arranged.
