I assume that Bill or Mike will want to handle the response to GAO. I can
provide most of the answer, and will be happy to draft something if that is
the preferred approach.
The NSC has no records concerning the 1947 incident at Roswell. And I doubt
that anyone on the NSC staff has any "knowledge" of this UFO incident, but
Joe Sestak could confirm that. To the extent there are any records, they
would most likely be at the Archives. The number they should call to pursue
the matter there is 301-713-7250.
